A favorite Purim tradition, Mishloach Manot, are gifts of food or drink that are sent to family, friends and others on Purim day. The mitzvah of giving Mishloach Manot derives from the Book of Esther. It is meant to ensure that everyone has enough food for the Purim feast held later in the day, and to increase love and friendship among Jews and their neighbors.
We are excited to offer you this holiday tradition. The cost is $10.00 per gift which includes homemade hamantashens, rugalach, macaroons, popcorn and some Purim fun! These gifts can be picked up curbside at Beth Shalom between 2:00-4:00 p.m. or be delivered on Wednesday, February 24th. Please call the Office at 209.571.6060 and leave a message if you haven't scheduled a time.
